スウェーデンはグスタフスベリ製陶所に在籍した作家、ベルント・フリーベリの、釉の景色がよろしい酒盃サイズの小ぶりな碗作品です。 全体に鮮やかな黄釉がかけられ、 その上から淡い緑釉が二重がけされて、 お互いが混ざり合い、 良い表情で流れております。 口縁のみ釉が拭かれて、 スッと素地の白い表情が現れており、 この輪郭が軽やかさと気品さを演出しております。 釉の毛並みはチリチリとした大変に細かなもので、 口縁から高台まで、静かにそしてしっとりと美しく流れ落ちております。 形は、正円の口縁を手びねりでゆがめ、 上から見ますと、四角の角が凹んだ8角形をしており、 横から見ますと、口縁中央が凹んだうねりに見えるものです。 70年代の作なので、やや口縁が厚いものですが、 お使いいただくにはちょうど良い厚みかと思います。 高台もぎゅっと小さなもので、 スッと立ち上がった、良い立ち姿をしており、 小ぶりながらも美しい佇まいをしております。 状態はたいへんによろしいものです。
This is a small sake cup with a nice view of the glaze by Berndt Friberg, an artist who worked at Gustavsberg pottery in Sweden. The whole of the bowl is covered with a bright yellow glaze, over which a pale green glaze has been applied in double layers, mixing with each other and flowing with a nice expression. Only the rim of the mouth has been wiped clean, revealing the white surface of the base, and this outline gives the whole piece a lightness and elegance. The furrows of the glaze are very fine, flowing down quietly and beautifully from the mouth rim to the base. The shape is an octagon with concave corners when viewed from above, and a concave undulation at the center of the mouth rim when viewed from the side. From the side, the center of the mouth rim looks concave and undulating. The base is also very small and stands up well, giving it a beautiful appearance despite its small size. The condition is very good.
