スウェーデンはグスタフスベリ製陶所に在籍した作家、スヴァン・ヴァイスフェルトのミニチュアサイズの碗作品です。全体に淡い青磁釉が掛けられ、その上から茶釉が二重掛けされて、お互いが混ざり合いきれいに流れております。水に落とした油の様な細かな表情が、器全体を覆っており見所です。釉の毛並みもチリチリと細かなもので、口縁から高台まできれいに流れ落ちております。形はきれいな正円の碗なりのもので、高台から口縁まで真っ直ぐに広がったシンプルな形をしております。口縁は紙細工の様に薄く、またサイズもミニチュアとしては小さなもので、釉の表情も見事に美しく、全てが整った良い作品と思います。フリーベリの後継として轆轤の名手となったヴァイスフェルトの技を存分に味わうことができます。状態も大変によろしいものです。
This is a miniature-sized bowl by Sven Wejsfelt, an artist who worked at the Gustavsberg pottery in Sweden. The entire bowl is covered with a pale celadon glaze, and then a double layer of brown glaze, which mixes with each other and flows nicely. The fine expression like oil dropped into water covers the whole bowl and is a highlight. The furrows of the glaze are also very fine and flow down nicely from the mouth rim to the base. The shape of the bowl is a beautiful regular circle, and it has a simple form that extends straight from the base to the mouth rim. The mouth rim is as thin as paperwork, and the size is small for a miniature, and the glaze is beautifully expressed. As the successor to Friberg, Wejsfelt became a master of the potter's wheel, and his skills can be fully appreciated. The condition is also very good.
