スウェーデンはグスタフスベリ製陶所に在籍した作家、ベルント・フリーベリの青い釉薬のミニチュア作品です。全体に濃く深い瑠璃釉がかけられ、その上から茶釉が二重掛けされて、お互いが混ざり合い、全体を流れております。見込みは茶釉の表情が強く現れておりますが、裏側は鮮やかな青の表情が楽しめます。釉の毛並みもチリチリとした細かなもので、口縁から高台まできれいに流れ落ちております。形は、正円の口縁を指で歪めたもので、上から見ますと柔らかい四角形をしており、定番の碗なりの形ですが、高台が高く伸びたタイプの形状をしており、より立ち姿が美しく見えるのが特徴です。状態はたいへんによろしいものです。
This is a miniature blue glazed piece by Berndt Friberg, an artist who worked at the Gustavsberg pottery in Sweden. The entire vessel is covered with a dark, deep lapis lazuli glaze, over which a double layer of brown glaze is applied, blending and flowing over each other. The brown glaze is strongly visible on the front side, while the reverse side has a vivid blue look. The furrows of the glaze are fine and flow down from the mouth rim to the base. The shape is that of a regular circle with the mouth rim distorted with the fingers, and when viewed from above, it has a soft rectangular shape, which is a standard bowl shape, but with a high, extended base, which makes it look more beautiful standing up. The condition is very good.
