スウェーデンのコスタ社で製作された、シガード・ペルソンの花器作品セットです。シガード・ペルソンはスウェーデンの彫刻家、金工師であり、20世紀のスウェーデンを代表するデザイナーの一人として知られています。金細工師の家に育ち、1942年にストックホルムに自分のスタジオを設立しました。ペルソンのデザインしたテーブルウエアやカトラリーは北欧をはじめとする多くの家庭で愛用されています。ニューヨーク近代美術館、パリ装飾芸術美術館、ロンドンのヴィクトリア＆アルバート美術館など、多くの美術館が彼のデザインを所蔵しています。テーブルウエア以外にもアクセサリーなど多岐に渡りデザインをしており、ガラス作品もコスタ社から数パターン出されています。こちらのピンク釉と青い線文が入った作品たちも、ガラス作品の一つで、コスタ社から販売されておりますが、ほとんど市場には出回っておらず、希少な作品たちと思います。ピンクのガラスは透明ガラスに覆われている被せガラスになっており、外側に青く太いラインが配されております。コスタ社のシール跡がどちらも残りますが、状態はたいへんによろしいものです。
This is a set of vase works by Sigurd Persson, produced by Kosta in Sweden. Sigurd Persson was a Swedish sculptor and goldsmith, and is known as one of the most important Swedish designers of the 20th century. He grew up in a family of goldsmiths and established his own studio in Stockholm in 1942. Persson's designs for tableware and cutlery have been used in many homes in Scandinavia and elsewhere. Many museums have his designs in their collections, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. In addition to tableware, he has also designed a wide range of accessories, and several glassware patterns have been produced by Kosta. These pieces with pink glaze and blue lines are one of the glass works sold by Kosta, but they are rare and rarely seen in the market.
