フィンランドは、アラビア製陶所に所属をしました、女性作家、リーサ・ハラマーの哥窯を模したと思われる、白磁釉の小壺作品です。リーサ・ハラマーは、もともと陶芸を学んだ後、研修生としてアラビア製陶所へと所属し、 絵付けなどを教わりましたが、1950年に作家として加わり、1970年までアート製作部門でもあります、アラビアアートデパートメントに所属をした作家です。中国古陶磁の影響もありますが、 独自の解釈で釉の色味を開発しており、マットな肌で、鮮やかな紫や青、虹彩の釉を、 多く用いているのが特徴の作家です。1970年と1971年のファエンツァ国際陶芸賞では、ゴールドメダルを受賞しております。こちらの小壺は、幻の器と呼ばれる、中国の哥窯の青磁を模したものと思われまして、 全体に純白の白磁の釉に、 貫入が細かく入り、黒くヒビ割れております。この釉は、アラビアアートデパートメントの、他の作家にも当時見られる釉薬でして、お互いに使用をしていたものと思われます。白磁の釉は高台上で止められ、そこに丁寧に鉄錆が塗られておりまして、白磁釉がきれいに止まっております。高台の釉は、黒く焦げたような鉄錆が丁寧に塗られ、 素地はややクリームがかった白いものです。形は肩のやや張った胴に、柔らかく口先が少し伸びた小壺型のもので、 まるでガラスの小瓶のような様相をしております。轆轤成形にて作られており、小振りでシンプルな形ながらも、その優美でしなやかな曲線から、気品の良い雰囲気が伝わって参ります。高台内サインは、LLとありますが、結婚後にLiisa Larsenに改名しており、その時代の作品であることがわかります。状態もたいへんによろしいものです。
This is a small white porcelain glazed vase, probably made in the style of a Chinese Ka-kiln, by Liisa Hallamaa, a Finnish female artist who worked at the Arabia pottery factory. Liisa Hallamaa originally studied ceramics and joined the Arabia Pottery Manufactory as a trainee, where she was taught painting and other skills. She was awarded a gold medal at the Faenza International Ceramics Awards in 1970 and 1971. This small vase is thought to be an imitation of the Chinese Ka-klin celadon, with a pure white porcelain glaze with fine crazing and black cracks. This glaze was also used by other artists of the Arabia Art Department at the time, and it is likely that they used each other's glazes. The white porcelain glaze is stopped at the top of the base, and the iron glaze has been carefully applied to it, stopping the white porcelain glaze nicely. The shape is that of a small vase with a slightly stretched body and a soft, slightly extended mouth, like a small glass vase. It is made on the potter's wheel, and despite its small size and simple shape, its graceful and supple curves convey a noble atmosphere. It is signed LL on the base, but the name was changed to Liisa Larsen after her marriage, indicating that it is a work from that period. The condition is also very good.
